Online Course: Introduction to Traditional Ebru Art

This online course introduces participants to the fundamentals of traditional Ebru art. You will learn how to prepare paints with ox gall and apply them onto thickened water to create classic patterns such as Battal and Gelgit. Perfect for those seeking an authentic entry into this centuries-old art form from home.

Course Details

• Duration: 2 lessons of 45 minutes each (≈ 1.5–2 hours)
• Location: Online (via video conference)
• Participants: minimum 2 – maximum 6 persons

Content

• Introduction to the traditional technique of Ebru art
• Preparation of paints and Ebru water
• Design of basic patterns (Battal, Gelgit, Comb)
• Individual guidance during the live session

Payment & Registration

Registration is only valid with simultaneous payment of the course fee. After successful registration, participants will receive the access details for the online session. For participation, Ebru paints, thickening agent, and paper are required, available in our shop.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation is possible up to 3 days before the start of the course. After that, the fee unfortunately cannot be refunded. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will refund the full amount paid.

Individual Scheduling

Courses can also be arranged on other days and times by agreement, provided the required minimum number of participants is reached and the desired date is available.
