Karin Traditional Ebru Marbling Paint 105 ml Concentrate – 201 Pigment Yellow

Bright and energetic in appearance, 201 Pigment Yellow introduces vivid light accents into traditional Ebru artworks. The strong yellow tone stands out clearly on the marbling bath and is especially suitable for sun-inspired designs, floral highlights and striking contrast elements within classical patterns. Its stable pigment composition helps produce clean transitions and expressive motifs with a radiant visual impact.

This concentrated, paste-like Ebru marbling paint is individually adjusted with water and ox gall and is suitable for precise, classical Ebru techniques. From 105 ml of concentrate you obtain approx. 200 to 500 ml of ready-to-use paint depending on the pigment (approx. 2× to 5× yield).

Application (short explanation)

Stir the concentrate well (paste-like consistency).
Dilute gradually with water until the desired viscosity is reached.
Use ox gall to regulate spreading and surface tension.
The paint is dropped onto a water bath thickened with carrageenan or another thickening agent (marbling bath). Patterns form on this thickened water surface and are then transferred onto paper.

Note on yield

Dilution depends on the pigment and the desired technique: some colors yield about 2×, others 4× to 5× the amount. Test the mixture with small quantities until the desired result is achieved.
